I use the word "actually" loosely because Christian rock isn't my cup of tea. I always feel like the band is preaching to me. However, New Jersey's Justpassingthru, now known simply as JPT, actually grabbed my attention because they sound like some of the bands my roomates, and eventually myself, listened to in college - Disturbed, Creed, Stone Temple Pilots, Audioslave, etc. Check out JPT on the band's MySpace page and on Twitter. They also have a Facebook page. There's no doubt this band is tight and definitely has some cred, sharing the stage with a number of major acts. This isn't some rubbish local bar band. I can see this band on a major label for sure.

JPT does ROCK! Been a fan a while now and they need our support to go all the way. Have a great new cover coming out to....check them out.
Met these guys a few months back when my band opened for them at a benefit show. They are the real deal! Tons of talent and all-around great guys! Don't miss it if you get a chance to see them live!
